Charter Fishing Near Apollo Beach, Florida

Apollo Beach sits on the quieter east side of Tampa Bay, not far from where the warm water discharge near the Manatee Viewing Center keeps fish holding close year round.

Redfish and snook cruise the residential canals and grass flats right off the neighborhood, and it's a short run out to grouper and snapper on nearshore structure.

This part of the bay moves at its own pace. Less boat traffic, calmer water on most days, and fish that hold tight to structure instead of scattering the moment a boat idles by.

It's common to see manatees drifting through the same canals you're fishing, especially in the cooler months. It's a good reminder of how much life this side of the bay actually holds.

This side of the bay tends to fish easy without the boat traffic you'll find closer to Tampa, which makes for a more relaxed day even when the bite is fast.
