A 9/11 Fishing Trip With Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation

Charter Fishing Tampa Bay had the honor of taking a group of combat veterans out on the water on September 11th. This trip was made possible through our partnership with Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation, and it was a day we will not forget.

A Group Worth Remembering
This group of veterans was a blast to have on board. Every one of them has made real sacrifices serving our country across several theaters of war, and it showed in the way they carried themselves and looked out for each other.
Days like this are about more than catching fish. It was a chance to build friendships, make memories, and hopefully offer a little healing along the way.
We spent part of the day remembering September 11th, along with the servicemen and emergency responders who gave everything that day and in the years since.

Proud to Work With Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation
Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation is doing great work for our veterans, and we were proud to be a part of it. This will not be the last time either.
We already have another trip booked for this October, this time taking out a group of lady combat veterans. We are honored to be part of that trip and any future trips with this organization.
Special thanks to Lee Hudson and Richard Menhart, board members and founders of Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation, for the work they put in to make days like this possible.
