Fishing Report

Grouper, Tripletail & a Gift We Won't Forget

The grouper and tripletail were more than happy to help make some memories on our recent trip with combat veterans on Tampa Bay. They caught plenty of both, and the fish were only part of what made the day special.

Grouper and Tripletail Cooperated All Day

Between the grouper and the tripletail, the action stayed steady the entire trip. Both species were willing to cooperate, and it kept smiles on the whole boat.

Days like this are exactly why we love getting veterans out on the water. Good fishing has a way of bringing people together, and this trip was no exception.

A Small Token That Meant a Lot

Before the day wrapped up, the Wapiti Foundation presented our captains with a coin, and a veteran's wife had handmade a key ring that was presented as well.

Both were given as a small token of appreciation for the day of fishing, and it is the kind of gesture that means far more to us than words can really cover.

Moments like this are a reminder of why we do what we do, and why partnering with organizations that support our veterans is something we take a lot of pride in.
