Lake Kissimmee Crappie Fishing Report

Updated: Jan 23

Where the Fish Are

The crappie have moved into the grass on Lake Kissimmee. The best action has been along grass edges and openings where fish are staging and feeding.

Current Action

Recent trips have produced consistent bites and full limits, with anglers catching up to 25 fish per person. Once a school is located, the action stays steady.

Baits & Approach

Light tackle with jigs has been very effective, and minnows are also working well. It’s simple, hands-on fishing that keeps everyone involved.
